Minister for Housing, Darragh O’Brien Opens Landmark Public Housing Project on Malahide Road

We are thrilled to share that GEM recently attended the official launch of 238 social and cost rental homes at De Verdon Place on Malahide Road. This significant event was hosted by Dublin City Council and Tuath Housing Association, with the opening ceremony led by Minister for Housing, Darragh O’Brien TD.

De Verdon Place stands as one of the largest public housing projects in Ireland, and we are proud to have delivered it three months ahead of schedule. The development has revitalized a previously part-derelict site, transforming it into a vibrant, mixed-use community. The project features 331 state-of-the-art apartments, beautifully landscaped courtyards and rooftop terraces.

As new residents move in, we remain committed to supporting the Housing For All initiative and contributing to the growth of our community.
