Construction Safety Week

This week at GEM Construction for Safety Week, we’re all about Safe Work at Height. Falls from height have been a top cause of fatal injuries in construction.

To address this, we conducted demos on key projects:

Malahide Road Project
Thanks to CSL – Coldridge Scaffolding LTD we showcased the importance of selecting the right fall arrest equipment.

The Willows
With support from KEYMORE CONSTRUCTION LIMITED, our Masonry Supply Chain Partner, we demonstrated the necessity of safety helmets and their the consequence of there absence.

Tandy’s Lane Project
KEYMORE CONSTRUCTION LIMITED,provided a practical demo on the consequences of removing scaffold components. We simulated what happens when handrails are removed.

In addition, we dedicated time to enhancing safety at height with training from MPSAFETYSERVICES. This valuable training equips site management and our Rendering Partner, KWP, for safer work with the spray render system.

Safety remains paramount at GEM Construction.
